2019 sees the running of the inaugural Hunter Valley Ultra, set to take place on 21 & 22 June. Featuring a 102km Ultra, as well as 60km, 30km, 12km & a race for the kids, the Hunter Valley Ultra offers a trail run option for everyone. The start and finish area will be set within one of the world famous Hunter vineyards, Drayton’s, located a short distance away from the official event hotel, Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley, which will accommodate runners and provide registration and expo facilities.
The varying courses will offer something for runners of all levels from elites to those tackling trail running for the first time. The event will provide a desirable Ultra course with next to no stairs covering fire trail and single tracks throughout the stunning Pokolbin State Forest.
Running up and onto ridge lines for most of the run, runners will have exceptional views whilst being dwarfed by the amazing forest when dipping down into the valleys.
With a kids race on offer, there is an event available for the whole family.
Early bird prices are available until 10 May.
